right now the one thing that i do not need is a lecture goddammit. especially one on my “intensity of work!” i have had little to no sleep! i have projects and tests of the wazoo over the next two weeks! i have been working my butt off i haven’t even had time to go to tennis practice yet! i do not need a goddamn lecture on working more “intensely” because right now what i need to do is a vacation! if anything i need to work less intensely! aaaahhhhhh!!!!!

so as if the fact that we’re wasting an unbelievable amount of time on standardized testings that serve no purpose this week… i have a hell-load of shit to do for school. well… i have a euro dbq due tomorrow which i just got… other than that i have a bioethics project, worth 300 points, due next monday and it will involve a lot of out of class work… and considering my entire group is busy that might be hard. i have a calculus project due in two weeks i have to do, along with the calculus test next monday, with all the homework due. i also have to make up a physics test, and i have a psychology test this friday… tennis? film society? well… those are kinda down there in terms of priority…

That’s all I need to relieve stress. Seriously. The second I feel my life is out of control and everything is falling apart, I get in my car and just drive around. I’ll most likely stop at Starbucks or The Coffee Booth (or maybe someplace out of town depending how angry/stressed I am), and I’ll crank up the tunes and blast some music. Relax. And then just drive around town sipping coffee and listening to tunes. It really is the most relaxing thing for me. I don’t know why, but it just doen’t work if any one of those elements is missing.

When I first watched it I didn’t really like it. But now I think I’m falling in love with it. This is really a well-done music video and I actually love right now. I don’t know, it’s hard to explain why. I mean, part of it I guess is because of the irony of the music video… you have children acting out all these historically significant events. But there’s also some symbolism there too… because it’s just that the humans behaved like children in these events…
