Today I heard a fellow classmate, who shall remain un-named, describe this classic in a very fitting manner I believe, summing it up in very few words. His description naturally ignores the existence of the finer points of this book, and simply describe its superficial appearance. His description goes as follows : “it’s just talking between  a couple of British lords and a painter”. This is the superficial description of Dorian Gray. This should not be taken as an accurate description of the book. The book, for the willing reader, has so much more to say then this.
